Let the doctor come to you by video

Learn more

Got a health matter that needs attention? Now you can get care without visiting the office. Video appointments are available with your primary care doctor, pediatrician, mental health provider and for urgent situations, an emergency medicine doctor. You just need to be a Kaiser Permanente member who’s registered on kp.org, and have a camera-equipped computer or mobile device.

Video visits are easy, secure, and part of your coordinated care.1 There’s no need to take time off from work to drive across town or sit in a waiting room. So you get the care you need, when you need it.

Is it urgent?

Video visits are available with a Kaiser Permanente emergency medicine physician who is connected to your personal doctor and can access your medical history. Simply visit kp.org or use our mobile app to schedule your video visits. You can also call the appointment line any time for a video appointment.2

Get better video visits

Kaiser Permanente video visits are better because the doctor can:

  • Access your Kaiser Permanente medical record and see your history, allergies, and more.
  • Make follow-up appointments for you with Kaiser Permanente providers.
  • Prescribe medicine and send orders directly to the pharmacy.
  • Order any lab tests or X-rays.
  • Coordinate any immediate face-to-face care you may need, including at a Kaiser Permanente Urgent Care center.
  • Remind you of any upcoming preventive health checks.
